A Home for Philosophy

The School of Practical Philosophy has been a quiet sanctuary in Brisbane since the early 1990s— a place to explore truth, wisdom, and the art of living well. Hundreds of people have come to study, reflect, and apply philosophy in daily life — transforming themselves and the community around them.

Our current home, however, is leased and limited in space. To continue growing and serving, we need a permanent home.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a lasting home for philosophy in Brisbane — a welcoming space for study, dialogue, retreats and quiet contemplation for generations to come.

Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we’ve already raised over $400,000. To make this vision a reality, we still have a long way to go.
